I began with form exploration in 2D and made note of promising ideas, constraints, and limitations.
I then began blocking out ideas in 3D, accounting for functionality, intuitiveness, aesthetic appeal, etc.
I then continued iterating between 2D and 3D until I felt the final design sufficiently fulfilled all criteria.
